Wine Advocate: “Sourced from the oldest and best parcels of the with extremely stony gravel and clay soils on porphyry rock that have a high level of shell calcium, the clear, pale-golden colored 2013 Siefersheimer Heerkretz Riesling trocken GG was picked straight after the Höllberg Riesling GG. The wine offers a subtle, precise and lime-fresh bouquet of white fruits and apricots along with vegetal, herbaceous and lovely mineral notes. Medium to full-bodied, this is a very clear, invigorating, really piquant and elegant Riesling from Rheinhessen’s Siberia. Quite closed but very long and complex on the palate it should be cellared for at least 3 or 4 years. This is surely a long-distance runner with a good amount of acidity (8.6 g/l) and residual sugar (5.2 g/l). You better not expect a sprinter here. Drink 2017 – 2025” 92/100 pts
